Why did Naomi tell Ruth to return to her own gods? (1:15)
15 “Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.”

I would say that, even though Naomi followed the God of Israel (as indicated by Ruth 1:6), she wanted (out of genuine love and concern for her daughters-in-law) for them to be in a setting that they would be familiar with, and in a situation where they would be provided for, rather than facing the uncertain future that would await them if they remained with Naomi as a widow with no means of support and no other sons whom they could marry -- even if their return to the country of Moab would mean that they would be worshipping other gods. (She was also confident that God would provide for them even in that setting (Ruth 1:8-9).)
