I've always wondered what happened to cause people to decide that dancing offended God. Why would God not want people to dance? What is it about dancing that makes it seem, to some people, to be the wrong thing for people to do? I guess this question is whether dance can be considered "worship."
Earthly kings are entertained by dancers. I wouldn't think that God needs entertainment. Worship is anything we do that we acknowledge we can only do because of God's grace. Worship is an attitude.
We clap our hands in worship. We stomp in worship. We close our eyes in worship. Why would stepping to music be any different?
