First, it is important for us to remember that Satan is not omnipresent-he cannot be in more than one place at a time. Only God is everywhere, and only God knows everything, while Satan must rely o...

There is no reference in the Bible where we are told that Satan can read our minds. He is a created celestial being who once held the position of an anointed Cherub.(Ezekiel28:14&15). We know him through the revelation given to us in the Holy Bible. Apart from the word of God we do not have any other way to know him. His throne is now in earth (Revelation 2:13). His rebellion is well explained in the previous article. However he has ability to put his thoughts in our hearts as he did with Judas Iscariot as we read in John 13:2 to further his plans. But the Scriptures tell us that he operates within the limits and authority given to him by The Lord. Recall the case of Job, all the problems and suffering he could bring in the life of Job after God permitted him. In the Book of of Revelation we are told time and again that he would create havoc because he would be permitted to create those troubles. Do not forget he sought permission to tempt Peter. But our Lord told Peter that He had already prayed for him so that his faith would not fail. He is interceding for us today also. Satan has the ability to steal God's word from our heart as we are told by Lord Jesus in Matthew13:19. Therefore let us be assured that Satan cannot read our minds. Only Lord Jesus and God the Holy Spirit and God the Father has that privilege. David says in Psalm 139:2 You understand my thought afar off.
My opinion is this subject is as follows: no, Satan can't read your mind. At godsbarnchurch.com under the 'origin of church' I tell of a battle with a demon. One of the words the Lord told me was this demon can't read your mind. Be very careful in what you say. In short, I had perceived in my heart to cast this creature out. I knew this in its presence yet the demon did not know that. Until I cast his out in the name of Jesus Christ. When I said Jesus Christ, it knew it then. But no they can't read your mind, only our Lord can do that.
Can Satan read our minds or know our thoughts? Although we cannot be dogmatic, it would appear that neither Satan nor his demons can read our thoughts. The Bible does not say that Satan can search men's hearts and minds. This is a significant point, since the apostle Paul assures us that Christians, lest we should be overreached by Satan, for of his thoughts we are not ignorant—2nd Cor 2:11, Rotherham Bible. So we need not fear that Satan has some extraordinary ability of which we are entirely unaware. This is not to say that Satan cannot discern our weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Satan has had centuries to study human behaviour. He does not need to be able to read minds to determine what patterns of behaviour we set, to observe what entertainment we pursue, or to listen to what things we talk about, and so forth. Our facial expressions and posture may also give clues as to what we are thinking or feeling. Satan, though, uses the same devices that he used in the Garden of Eden—lies, deception, and misinformation. (Genesis 3:1-5) While we need not fear that Satan will read our minds, we do have reason to be concerned about what thoughts Satan might try to put into our minds. He wants Christians to become "corrupted in mind (1 Timothy 6:5). Little wonder that Satan's world has unleashed a flood of corrupting information and entertainment. To withstand this onslaught, we must protect our minds by wearing "the helmet of salvation" (Ephesians 6:17). We do this by filling our minds with Bible truths and avoiding unnecessary contact with the unsavoury elements of Satan's world. We know full well that Satan is a formidable foe. But we need not have a morbid fear of him or his demons. Because James 4:7 assures us: "Oppose the Devil, and he will flee from you." If we follow this counsel, we will be able to declare, like Jesus, that Satan has no hold on us.—John 14:30.
