Why weren't the men that were with Saul (Paul) blinded?

Saul heard a voice but didn't see, and was blinded. Why was he the only one who was blinded?

Acts 9:7

ESV - ⁷ The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.
