How does the Holy Spirit help a Christian in times of trouble?

John 16:7

NKJV - 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

A great question and I humbly submit for your consideration an experience from the depths of a soul crushing domain where the deepest pit of man's fears is dominant. (Proverbs 13:16)

For the casual sophisticated cosmopolitan visitor this domain seems very scientifically proper; but to those who have paid the very high price of admission [A price which no sane person would ever volunteer to pay] it's a very different reality indeed!

These unfortunate sojourners are brought or stand within the domain of an ICU [Intensive Care Unit] as those they treasure most; fight for their lives or in some cases maybe the little that can be salvaged of it. (Isaiah 55:6; Isaiah 65:24)

Within the excitement of any emergency room or ICU it's very easy to fall victim to the floating bad reports that maybe generated by medical staff and others. (Proverbs 15:2)

To the sojourner's untrained eyes all the technological wonders are discombobulating as they are now dependent upon in most cases total strangers to do their fiduciary duties with regards to their patient; but your so treasured loved ones.

Bottom Line:

On our sphere in all jobs or professions fifty percent graduate at the top of their class and fifty percent are in the lower half; within this lower half some just make the point of entrance to that profession. One does not know for the most part from which of the three levels in dire times you will draw your much needed esoteric oracle?

In this confused environment the Holy Spirit can give you a peace beyond man's normal understanding and empower you to stand and boldly speak God's truth. And in some cases to a people who may view you as delusional at best and totally nuts at worse.

But to desperate fellow sojourners in their own mid-night at noon situation who might be considering a little soul trading your words of life, may move them more than a seventy two CD teaching, here stranger things have happened friend.
(Colossians 4:5; 2 Corinthians 7:9; 2 Corinthians 7:10)

Even if things should not go according to your best laid plans; the Spirit will carry you from that dark valley and in time develop an endurance where a peace resides as you come to terms with the total realities of your loss. (Psalms 23:4)

Part of that peace is knowing that there will be a reunion with our lost treasures down the road a bit where all things will make perfect sense gazing upon the Masters grand mosaic in speechless silence friend. (Psalms 119:28)

In the Lord's freedom and endurance........warrior on
