What is the 'Free the Nipple' movement and how should a Christian respond to it?

1 Corinthians 12:22 - 23

ESV - 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable. 23 And on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty.

The 'Free the Nipple' movement is about promoting equality between the sexes. It fights for the rights of women, particularly their right to go shirtless like their male counterparts. This movement also fights to prevent females from being sexualised.

There are powerful marches that take place in some parts of America, and in Canada. It is absolutely legal for women to go shirtless in public, however these people may face sexism or challenges in doing so, although it is their right. So this movement is very much needed as to ensure that this minority gets treated fairly and equally,

I doubt that God would restrict someone or take away their rights simply because of their gender. Christians often use the phrase "God is fair and just" so if God were to take away someones rights because of their gender, he would no longer be fair and just.

I understand that being like Jesus is a common thing Christians strive for, so by supporting equality, and this movement, a Christian could show to the world how fair and just their God is. Romans 2:11 says, "For there is no partiality with God" and for this to be true, God wouldn't favour one gender over the other.

A Christian could show their values to the world by joining this movement, as there has been a lot of questions regarding how God views equality between the sexes. And by joining this movement a Christian could show exactly that.
