The present day Jews are in a dilemma, for they have no temple where they can make animal sacrifices and they are unable to discern from among themselves who the descendants of Aaronite priests are.

1 Corinthians 3:16, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (17) If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are."

1 Corinthians 6:19, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you whom you have from God, and you are not your own?"

Sacrifices - Isaiah 1:13, "Bring no more futile sacrifices; I cannot endure iniquity .." Hosea 6:6, "For I desire mercy and not sacrifice and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."

Hebrews 13:16, "But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Priest...Luke 1:5 - Zacarias' wife was a daughter of Aaron. Their daughter Elizabeth, was cousin to Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Hebrews 6:20 - chapter 11...Jesus was High Priest and King after the order of Melchizedek.

Jesus came as a levitical High Priest. He is coming as a Davidic King. Revelation 19:16, "And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS"

Genesis 22:7,8 - Isaac said My Father, where is the Lamb for the offering? Abraham answered, God will provide Himself a lamb...

Isaiah 53:7, He was led as a lamb to the slaughter...

John 1:29, ..." Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"

Revelation 5:12, ..."Worthy is the Lamb who was slain..."
