How can I find the way to accept God as a loving father when I was raped and abused as a child?

I want to understand why God didn't stop it. I have a lot of anger. I do not want to serve someone who stood by while I was sexually assaulted as a child.

This question is a confusing one for us who have been abused as children. I for one feel angry, betrayed and sometimes sad that I had my childhood stolen by someone I should have been able to trust.

So this is my answer: I I believe that Jesus is my savior, that he was with me throughout my childhood, and even more so now. I know it's hard, but we need to forgive and let go and let God. We lost a childhood but through this we are able to help others that go through this because we know their pain. We can help by showing them Jesus' love for us. Like I said: it's not easy, but with God all things are possible.
