Hi Anonymous, There are many scriptures that point to the fact that humans have a soul from the moment of their conception. There are all sorts of reasons for having a miscarriage, but underneath all the reasons lies the foundation of the fall of Adam, and all of mankind inheriting a sinful nature. So, am I hinting that babies who die or miscarriages are sinners and do not go to heaven because they have not accepted the Lord? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Mom's who have been through this (and dad's who should be supportive) need to stand on the scripture and it's descriptions of Jesus' love of children and their innocence, and then after that for extra support, rest on the opinion of all the major Christian denominations as well as Hebrew teaching that children are not able to make (therefore not accountable) an educated decision until a certain age, usually around 12 or 13. So, absolutely yes, you will see and hug your unborn child, and there will be no birth defects or what not. But remember also that our "hope" is not heaven, but a resurrected body on a new and perfect earth, with the everpresent most high God to answer all our questions. You're just passing through here! The bigger question would be what happens to those that die through miscarriages. Or after birth. Or those babies that die before reaching the age of reasoning. Or those who have been born without the ability to reason. Or those who have not heard the Gospel of Christ. What happens to all of those? We have the account of David and his son who was only four days old when he died. David said to his servants that when his son died he could not bring him back, but he knew one day he would be with him again. 2 Samuel 12: 23: But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. So we see that David’s child was not at the age of reasoning, but yet one day David would join him. All your questions can be answered if the Lord will give you the understanding of the Book of Life.

I don't believe any soul will enter into the presence of the Creator of life, the Great I Am, the King of Golry, the Ancient of Days, and bring with him a curiosity of a miscarriage, whether it was of a child of theirs or someone else's. I don't believe a redeemed soul will be concerned about his old life. In fact, I don't believe the redeemed will remember this old life. I don't mean we will have forgotten; but I don't believe it will come to mind. That's what the prophet Isaiah wrote: For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things will not be remembered or come to mind (Isaiah 65:17). The chapter proceeds to describe a new experience of life; one that is inconceivable to us at this time. Jerusalem will be a place where there's no sound of weeping or distress; no confusion of any kind; no calamity. The wolf and the lamb, according to Isaiah, will graze together. The lion and the ox will both eat straw. This is a descriptive representation of the weak and the strong, the wild and the domesticated dwelling in harmony. (I long to see that happen among humans. That's the idea presented here). That is for sure the description of a new heaven and earth. A place that's beyond our imagination. Before detailing this monumental change, the prophet writes that the time in which we're presently living "won't be remembered or come to mind." Hallelujah! Glory to God! Miscarriages "won't be remembered or come to mind." (Isaiah the prophet declared that, not me. I'm simply believing it! In fact, I'm banking on it! I don't want to remember violence and death. I want the new life that God promises, not just an upgraded extension of this existence). Leave your worries behind! Come to Jesus! He will give you rest. Take His yoke upon yourself. Swap the burden you now have with the one He will place on you. His burden is light (not heavy). He is gentle. Praise His name! Give it to Him!
