What is the significance of Satan using the act of beheading the Believers in Rev 20?
Is there significance in having them beheaded vs. other forms of killing?
Revelation 20:4
ESV - 4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

In addition to what has already been stated, I don't think we can discount radical Islam. It goes without saying what their long range goal and intentions are. They hate anything associated with Judao-Christian principles and glory in public beheadings. I feel it is a good possibility Islam will be a major player as the Lord brings planet earth to its grand climax.
I understand Saudi Arabia continues to use beheading as a means of capitol punishment.
