Submission to God is unlike any other kind of submission we've ever experienced because of His overflowing love for us. Its more of an arrangement in our favor because He only wants the best for us, 2 Peter 1:4 and Jeremiah 29:11.

Jesus said it best of all (to me) in Matthew 11:28-29, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

When we realize and accept that Jesus spoke the Universe into existence and that our Trinity; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are in control of _everything that happens, and we realize that His will will always prevail, we can accept that and be grateful and enjoy His magnificent riches of love and grace or have a life filled with disappointment by trying to 'work' our plan instead of submitting to His.

God knows how many hairs we have on our heads (or did at one time for those who don't have to wash their hair anymore), Matthew 10:29-31. God loves us more than we can ever know here on Earth so only a prideful person or a non-believer would refuse to submit to His loving guidance through His Holy Spirit.

God is on our side in ways we can only wish our friends and family were at times and, it should be a joy to submit to Jesus, knowing He and we are in this together as a team to receive His best for us as we surrender our best to Him.

In Philippians 1:9-11, Paul says, ''And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that you
may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God."

Jesus is not only a daily part of our lives, He _is our Life, and submitting to Him is to gain everything and to lose nothing except thinking we're in control when we aren't to begin with and, to lose our pride to gain His glory.

I resisted Him for a long time, thinking _I knew how to run my life and finally, after disappointment, frustration, and failure I relinquished 'control' to Him.
My life changed overnight and when I woke up that next day it dawned on me that I didn't have to worry about paying the bills, my health, what I was going to be able to afford to eat, or whether I was even going to live or die. It became His job to handle all those things and when those burdens were lifted, I wondered why it had taken me so long to submit to God and receive His rewards.

His grace and love have blessed me ever since and if you're at a point in your life needing to make that decision, don't hesitate for an instant because you gain everything you've wanted and get gifts you weren't expecting, His joy in you and love for you abound and, in Philippians 4:6-7, you gain His peace, 'Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Psalm 51:17 says, “My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.” So David got it, as he understood the Lord was not desiring burnt offerings but a living sacrifice! Humble and with a pure heart!

Obedience to all authority is key as a believer. And it takes humility to get there. Believers who don't obey their boss in the office probably are not a believer because they are practically going against the commandment of God and are not humble. The best form of evangelism to an unsaved boss is to obey them.
