Passover was part of the mosaic law of ordinances (Ex 12; Ex 23), which ended at the cross, and Christians are under no obligation to offer lambs in sacrifice. At the moment of Christ’s death, the veil of the temple was ripped from top to bottom by an unseen hand (Matt 27:51). The most holy place of the sanctuary, where the sprinkled blood recorded all the sins of the people, was exposed. But no more blood needed to be sprinkled; no more lambs needed to be slain; the true Lamb had come to which all those sacrifices pointed (John 1:29). Christ was the fulfillment of all the shadows and types.
In 1 Corinthians 5:7 Paul explains that now Christ is our Passover and when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we are keeping the Passover. Instead of killing lambs, we now celebrate Communion, the modern equivalent of the Passover.
Nevertheless, Paul in Colossians 2:13-16, makes it clear that we should not judge anyone who feels strongly about celebrating any or all of these feasts. Some have argued that Paul in these verses is talking about the Ten Commandments Law – however, that cannot be the case as only the ceremonial law was dealing with feast and ceremonial sacrifices – none of the Ten Commandments deals with such things.

It's good for us to know who Jesus was in every way. The fact that He practiced Passover every year of His life and then became our Passover Lamb.
I recently learned that Bethlehem was the town where the Passover lambs were bred and born...isn't that interesting!
His baptism was done by John the immerser (Baptist) to prepare Him for ministry...you come to me to be baptized? I need to be baptized by you. Let it be so now to fulfill scripture.
John was from the line of Aaron on both sides, Zechariah and Elizabeth, those were the only priests who could examine the Passover Lamb and approve it! Behold, the lamb of God, who comes to take away the sins of the world!
To look at Jesus through the eyes of the Jewish is an awesome, awesome experience!
