Lets make this simple nuts and bolts argument anyone can understand.

Stem cells are a specific class and type of cells that are unique because of their ability to act as a fundamental building block for many other types of cells and as such can be made to grow into different organs or sub organs, body parts if you will. 

The harvesting of embryonic stem cells for medical or research amounts to growing new humans in order to harvest "spare parts". 

Not too tough to know that is wrong.
