In my humble opinion that would be a YES as unpopular and unfashionable such a judge mental thought might be for some in our current safe space nonsense epidemic times.(1 Samuel 8:3; Psalms 73:8; Psalms 120:7)

Condone; excuse, overlook, or make allowances for, be lenient with.(Judges 17:6)

History from antiquity and human nature decree whatever you allow to be done freely without restraint will expand and if left unstopped much like a cancer may kill it’s host. (Judges 21:25; Proverbs 26:11)

The evil one is well aware of this principal that sin will enter the larger group through one who is permitted to remain in contact with it, much like a virus contaminates.

The challenge for a moral person has always been to be the first person and most times currently the only person to call a spade a spade, as many today have a spine problem when it comes to defending the truth of any matter in the public square!

Condoning Sin, is just like not objecting to wrong actions. God detests sin, and also warns against the consequences that sinners may face, and He therefore does not want any act of sin to be tolerated within the Christian family. Ephesians 5:11, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them". Similarly in Proverbs 28:4, "They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as that keep the law contend with them'.

Sinners must not be tolerated in our environment, because of the effect of the actions and their influences on faithful believers. Sin is an action from the corrupt mind, and corruption flows easily when allowed to live within a decent society. Isaiah 1:4, Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.
