absolutely not. The bible is not about Angels but it is all about Man. From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, it is God dealing with Man.

Instead of man worrying about if any more Angels would sin, it would be better if man would get his mind soul and spirit in line with the word of God and sin not.

The Bible is not about Angels and if they sin or not but it is all about man if would sin or not. There is a danger when the church takes its focus away from man and concentrate on Satan or the Angels.

If only readers would understand that the bible is Gods story. We would never know anything without the Holy bible if God dud not write down "his story"

The church must not add to his story or question his story. We are to a accept his story if we like it or not

Blessings to everyone. I do not see how the Scriptures can invite everyone to come to Christ & be promised salvation to “ALL” who will if God “chose” who and who wouldn’t be “chosen”. 

God knew in His foreknowledge, as He is not bound by time, He is in the biggining and the end and all time in between. He knew all that would happen before it all even began. It’s like being in a helicopter hovering above a parade. The people in line can only see what is passing by them at the time however those hovering above can see the first float to the last one. They know the order of the school bands, the dancers, the clowns etc...

God meant for salvation to be for everyone as He would have no man perish. However, He knew and could “see” before the “very foundations of the creation” what each and every individual would choose to do.

It’s also important to remember the Holy Bible is a Jewish Book, it was not written in English neither are there, in many instances, any English words that can truly and accurately define many of the words that are translated therein. In these instances the “best” word was used that often we read with English understanding and NOT with Holy Spirit guidance.

It’s always been a matter of freewill and choice for every man. Gods love, forgiveness and acceptance is extended to “all who will come” - He just simply already knew who would choose and who would deny Him and His sacrifice and free gift of salvation. Just as He already knows today what each and everyone of us will face and how we will either allow Him to guide us through our trials or whether we must wander in the wilderness, until we finally give it to Him.

As S. Michael points out, there are elect angels and there are holy angels. The obvious question should be: “What were they elected for?” and correspondingly, “How do they, or how did they become holy?”

First off, I believe the angels were elected by God. It is the same word ‘eklektos’ G1588 that is used for those of us who were chosen (Col. 3:12). We were chosen before the Foundation of the World to be holy and blameless (Eph. 1:4). Did God make His choice for the elect angels at the same time? If you do a word study of “the Foundation of the World”, you will see that it was the violent down-casting of God’s harmonious arrangement of order in the cosmos. It was the time when God chose to build the foundation for a new “chosen generation” (1 Peter 2:9 NKJV) of His Creation, to become holy and blameless. When coupled with Rom. 8:20, 21 you begin to get the sense that God’s choice at the Foundation of the World was not limited to human beings. In fact, Rom. 8:22, 23 states that the WHOLE Creation is suffering birth pains, as is those of us who have been indwelled by God’s Holy Spirit. Is this what the elect angels were chosen for?

Looking at those places where holy angels are mentioned in the NT, we find they show up when the Lord comes in His glory (Matthew 25:31 NKJV), after the Holy Spirit is poured out upon men (Acts 2:3-4 and Acts 10:22), and finally, during the last half of the Tribulation when those who take the Mark of the Beast suffer in the Lake of Fire (Rev. 14:9-10). Additionally, if Luke 9:26 doesn’t state it, it outright implies that the holy angels possess the same glory as the Father and the Son when the Lord returns in power and great glory. It is the same glory we will possess in our glorified bodies. It happens the moment we receive the Crown of Glory at the Lord’s appearance (1 Peter 5:4) to ALL who love His appearance, the Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8).

Then the earliest appearance of holy angels is after the Holy Spirit came upon the men of Acts, not before. Does this imply the holy angels had to wait for the dispensation of the Holy Spirit? I believe it does.

Is it possible that more of the angels could sin? If God did nothing to change them, it is; but it would appear that God made a choice to change them, for we see them along side the spirits of righteous men made perfect in the heavenly Jerusalem (Hebrews 12:22, 23). Once we put on agape love through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we have the bond of perfection (Col. 3:14 NKJV) and the right to become holy (2 Corinthians 1:21, 22). Once we attain to the resurrection, we will receive the Crown of Glory and achieve perfection at Christ’s return, no longer able to sin (1 John 3:9 and 1 John 5:18).

It is patently absurd to even ask this question, but would it be wise of God to bring half of the Creation to the point of a sinless nature, and leave the other half (the angels) to the whims of their old ways? If it happened to Satan, why would it not happen again in the vacuum of a change to their character? Yet, we know that God does not “give help” to the angels (does not deliver them through the born-again process as He does men – Heb. 2:15, 16). However, we know that the WHOLE Creation is going through the pains of rebirth, which has to include the angels. So I ask you, how does that happen? How are the holy angels made holy? We end up holy and blameless, not able to sin, and no longer missing the mark of God’s glory. How do the angels get to the same place?
