It is the physical touchable presence of the Living God. He also can manifest in the belivers as fruit and it talks about in 1Corinthians 14. It is the gift Jesus sent when he returned to the Father. As a born again child of God you have this indwelling of His fullness Ephesians 3:14-17. He is real and very much alive.The Sprit is the third part of the God head. John 1 and John 17 Acts 2.

As I understand the term, the manifestation of the Spirit (as discussed by Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 and 1 Corinthians 12:28, as well as in Romans 12:6-8) refers to the gifts or abilities that are given to Christians as visible evidence of the presence and working of the Holy Spirit in their lives, resulting from their salvation through faith in Christ.

As indicated by Paul, these include:

personal gifts (such as wisdom, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, discernment of spirits (that is, whether they are good or evil), and the ability to speak in or interpret languages not previously studied);

effective functioning in offices or positions needed in the church, such as apostles, preachers, teachers, and servants in various capacities;

the resources to provide financial support; and

the performing of charitable acts of mercy.

These are given by the Holy Spirit's power not for the personal benefit or private use of each individual, but for the good of the entire church in supplying its needs and maximizing its effectiveness in witnessing to Christ, and conveying the message of salvation and of God's love in Christ to as many people as possible.
