The church is called on to oppose sin in all its forms. Of course, all of us are born with a corrupted sin nature, and will remain sinners throughout our earthly lives (even after salvation), so we have no right to consider ourselves better than others in that respect. However, the church also calls on all people to repent of sin, accept the forgiveness that God offers in Christ, and resolve to amend their lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. This is done not out of a spirit of condemnation, but out of concern for the eternal state of all people.

Problems arise when individuals refuse to see their sinful condition in the same light that God sees it, or to recognize their need for His forgiveness. If it seems that the church is "picking on" the homosexual community, it may be because at least some individuals within that community (the ones who are more likely to come to the attention of the public) are very vocal and flagrant in flaunting a lifestyle that, to Christians, is clearly condemned by God, and (rather than considering themselves in need of change or repentance) in demanding that others accept their views of homosexuality as no different from heterosexuality.

For Christians, while homosexuality may be no greater or more egregious a sin than vices that heterosexuals practice, it is still something that the Bible (which, for Christians, is the word of God Himself) condemns, and which, on that basis, can no more be accepted unquestioningly, or without a need for change, than any other behavior that God condemns (especially if practiced knowingly, openly, defiantly, repeatedly, and unrepentingly).

Andy 3 photo Andy Mangus I am a Christian since October 1979 & devoted truth seeker.
My short and simple answer I submit! "Absolutely not and with zero malice, but with pure love and concern for our fellowman"!

Here's the main point: The decrepit, disgusting and filthy lifestyle choice of homosexuality is THE main reason God totally and utterly destroyed the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah!

The good news of the gospel is that anyone can "turn from their wicked ways and call upon the Lord, believing IN the name of Jesus Christ; trusting IN HIS eternal salvation by eternal Grace offered through His eternal sacrifice on that cross at Calvary just over 2000 years ago."!

When Jesus died for our sins--all our sins!--for all, he provided a way for all (everyone!) "to come unto Me as like a child with simple childlike faith" and "He will save your very soul for unto that day of redemption'!

"Praise God that He provided a Savior! And, His name is Jesus Christ!" --Andy--

I humbly submit for your consideration on this matter before us a simple and logical answer to the question as posed. As told by the alphabet communities and their fellow ideological travelers within the Babylon worshiping utopia.
One would think that today untold numbers of bigoted Christians roam the land, much like the (Dixie Crats) Southern Democrats of the Ku Klux Klan did in times long past.

It would seem that there is a willful effort to deceive those who know not their history before their birth Watson! (Proverbs 24:12)

As a Bible believing Christians most live at peace with all their neighbors where and when possible, as a living sacrifice bringing glory and drawing unbelievers to the Lord, as we are ambassadors of the kingdom.

But in this life there are times when this peace we work for is not possible and to retreat from the battle that is put before you, may or would endanger the innocent of today and those in the future! (Proverbs 24:11)

That said there is a time, for every purpose under heaven, a time for peace and a time for war, consider well your actions prior to entering into this area both legal and moral. (Ecclesiastes 3:8)

In my opinion human beings have only two ways to deal with one another:
REASON or FORCE.
Now if you want me to do something for you, you have the choice of convincing me via your argument, or forcing me to do your bidding under coercion with the threat of force or lost. (Hosea 4:6)

The current nonsense epidemic that is championed by todays secular leftist
(synagogue of Satan) means to silence and then destroy any who would dare oppose their incessant edicts.
Gods people suffer a withering campaign of abhorrent legal battles just for the high crime of saying NO to the latest pogrom from these oracles of the left juggernaut.

These champions of “FEELINGS” are not content in their own freedom to engage in detestable debauchery, they now demand that you lovingly approve and partake in them, much like a small child putting beans up their nose, they demand that you and your children must also!

So just who is the true bully in these nonsense epidemic matters friend?

Simply stated; there is a finely calibrated bargain at the heart of a republic:
Citizens have duty to obey the lawful and legitimate mandates of the government, including those with which they disagree.
And the government has a solemn duty to the people governed, to exercise due diligence in seeing that all it's actions are LAWFUL and LEGITIMATE.

LEGAL INSURRECTION: “a rising up against established authority; rebellion or revolt” “in conformity with or permitted by law”

In the Lord's freedom fearing no man..........warrior on
