Why were infants dashed to pieces?
Nahum 3:10
ESV - 10 Yet she became an exile; she went into captivity; her infants were dashed in pieces at the head of every street; for her honored men lots were cast, and all her great men were bound in chains.

I am a life long Christian but I still have such difficulty in trying to understand why God would allow such horrific deaths....the torturous ways...all people but especially infants and children. I'm trying to accept it and to just trust God...but it so breaks my heart for the people who were so tortured. At least if they were killed instantly would be easier to accept.
