God only made two perfect human beings, Adam and Eve. When they rebelled against God’s command and sin entered the world, their human spirits died and their sinful nature came alive. They have passed on this sinful nature to every generation since then.

Sin became so rampant that God decided to wipe out the human race with a flood and start over with Noah and his family (see Genesis chapter 6).

God hates all sin equally because all sin is rebellion against the will of God. Every imperfection in human beings is cause by our sinful nature. Some people are born with disabilities, mental health issues, and emotional imbalance. Other people get sicknesses and diseases because of chemical imbalances or rogue cells in their bodies.

Sometimes we make the wrong choices because of cultural influence and persuasion. We live in a sex crazed culture where people are constantly examining their sexual identity and sexual preferences. My friend has a daughter who came out as a lesbian as a teenager, lived with an older woman for 3 years, ended that relationship, met a guy with 2 kids, moved in with him, and recently they were married.

The disciples had a discussion with Jesus about a man born blind (John 9:1-41). They asked whether he was born blind because his parents had sinned or he had sinned. Jesus said neither, that he was blind so that the works of God might be revealed in his life. Then Jesus healed him. That created a real problem for the Jewish religious leaders because they believed he was steeped in sin, and no one had ever heard of a man born blind being healed.

God hates all sin but we can be forgiven. When we confess our sins, repent and accept Jesus Christ as our personal saviour, all our sins will be washed away. Then we are accepted by God and can begin an intimate personal relationship with him.

In response to your question the best answer I can provide for you is that they aren’t born gay or homosexual. Being a Christian and a doctor of psychology I can say this topic has been highly debated between many professions including theology, psychology, and psychiatry just to name a few. The very condition of homosexuality is vaguely referenced throughout the entire Bible but to my knowledge there is only one verse that speaks of it directly.

“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”
Leviticus 18:22 KJV

The book of Leviticus is in the Old Testament and scholars generally agree that the Old Testament was God passing on laws to Moses to relay to the Israelites and as my grandmother always referred to it as the Fire and Brimstone Testament because after God sent His Son Jesus as the Lamb of God to be sacrificed on Calvary to save all man kind or rather give mankind the option to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior there was no need for God the Father to directly engage with man as He did with Moses.

That being said, I can say this if we break down Leviticus 18:22 and look at it from a point of view that it was spoken to Moses by God as a law not to be broken. He says if a man does this it will be an abomination so let’s look at that word. Abomination is defined as that which is especially deplorable, repugnant, sinful, corrupt, or depraved. The Bible often may imply that which is prohibited or corrupted according to Christian doctrine. But we are also told in Psalms 139:13 “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.”

And...
Psalms 139:15 “My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.”

If we examine the word abomination as prohibited or even corruptible it denotes a choice. The Psalmist tells us even though we were made in secret in the lowest parts of the earth God still protects us in the womb. So combining a psychological and Christian view we are most likely not born homosexual but sin corrupts us into the choice to engage in this particular lifestyle or not to. I hope that I didn’t muddy the waters too badly and my answer is somewhat helpful.

This is what I found: It's Psalms, Chapter 51, Verse 5: Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Perhaps human nature is sinful from the day of birth, so mankind is flawed with that element from one's beginning and youth. Since Scriptures define homosexuality as sin, as I see it, yes, people are born gay. My observation: When Adam and Eve sinned in Eden, they lost their covering, and the Father cursed man with the sin of eternal death. Hallelujah to know that His Son died for our sins to save us from that eternal death. This is all my opinion, nothing more.
