How can there be an unforgivable/unpardonable sin, when Jesus forgives all our sins?

How can there be an unforgiveable sin/s, such as mentioned in I John 5:16 and Matt 12:31, if we are set free from our sins through the blood of Christ (Eph 1:7)?

1 John 5:16

ESV - 16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life - to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.

I thought that suicide was the unforgiving sin?

I recently struggled with this scripture myself but know I understand it... Very well explained and I see it the same way. The key is repentance. We all fall short of the glory of God, for the flesh is weak.

I am here to testify about the love Grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. When I was younger I told God I hated him. I cursed at him and I told him to get out of my life and I even partook in communion in a very sinful way even though I had become a Christian prior to this. I have since asked for forgiveness and have repented of that and I know I'm forgiven because about a year ago I was in church with my wife. We had been arguing a lot and I felt the holy Spirit convicting me to take her up to the altar and pray about it. I kept fighting it and did not want to do this because I dont like bringing attention to myself in front of everybody.

The holy Spirit kept convicting me and there was no way I could ignore it. The band in our church played a song called "Holy Spirit" from the Christian artist Francesca Battestelli. In the song the lyrics say, "Holy Spirit you are welcome here, come in this place and fill the atmosphere." As I sang that, there was no avoiding it. In that moment I heard a voice in my head and I know it was Jesus. In the most peaceful gentle yet direct and clear way he said, "Everything will be okay." So I looked at my wife smiled took her hand and said, "come pray with me." And we went up and prayed about our issues with tears in our eyes.

I do believe in the unforgivable sin which is dying as a non-Christian. That is blaspheming it. If I wasn't forgiven of my awful sins and what I did about kicking God out of my life and blaspheming Holy Communion Jesus would not have convicted me to take my wife up and pray for forgiveness. Jesus will forgive anyone who seeks it. But for someone who never seeks Christ's forgiveness and dies as a non-christian will be guilty of the unforgivable sin and will be judged for that and the punishment is eternal separation from him in hell.

I am forgiven and I know I'm forgiven because of the Holy Spirit convicting me to always seek Jesus and his forgiveness even after those awful things I did. My only question in this post is to those who are reading this. And that question is, will you seek Jesus, ask him to save you and forgive you of you're sins? If you haven't my prayer is that you will. Romans 10:9 NIV. Romans 12:2 NIV 1 John 1:9 NIV.

This post is how I know Jesus forgives anything before death. I turned my back on God and blasphemed the holy Spirit and God spoke to me at that church service 16 years later.
