What does it mean as a Christian to "forgive and forget"?

 Does it mean: 
- Forgetting that you were wronged?
- Not bringing up the issue with the person(s) that wronged you?
- Pretending to have forgotten a wrong doing when you meet the person(s) so as to create a comfortable atmosphere?
- Something else?
