The “Athenasius” creed is the basis of the Nicean creed that all churches in Christianity believe in and recite in almost every mass or prayer gatherings. It is seen as the main declaration of faith, and uniting element in all our churches despite them changing so much. Athansius who is a saint of Coptic church, saw it paramount to come up with a faith doctrine to defend us from the haressy after the other, that plagued the 4th century putting in question the nature of the trinity. It is not new at all, as it is completely biblically sound. An interesting fact about St. Athenasius is that before being chosen to be the head of the Alexandrian church, he used to be just a deacon,in church.
