Luke 19:40

NKJV - 40 But He answered and said to them, "I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.

Stone has been used In the Bible all over but we must consider the background in which it was used. In 1 Peter 2:7, "So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone." here Jesus was referred to as the Living Stone...that means we have a dead stone right?

In Luke 19:40, the stone Jesus was referring to was the unbelievers who were around and not praising Him. He wanted to tell the pharisees, that He had the power to turn the unbeliever's heart to believe and praise Him.

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. If you don't have faith in God through Jesus, you are referred to as a stone because the gateway that is the heart to Gods Temple, which is your body, is made of stone. In essence you are stone.
