Can married couples watch porn together?

That is, is watching porn acceptable if done by a couple inside a marriage?

If by "married couple" you meant Christian couple, my answer is an emphatic No!

Under no circumstances should pornographic context fall into the hands of a believing couple, let alone become the menu of their secret videos. It is the highest level of moral pollution for believers to watch pornography in the "privacy" of our bedrooms.

The Bible teaches in Colossians 1:13 that God "hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." A believing couple are a different set of people who should glorify God in all that they do. Watching porn does not.

Porn is part of the evil "delicacies" enjoyed by those who are in continual rebellion to Christ and what He represents. A believing couple certainly do not need porn to be intimate with one another.

While some may consider pornography as a stimulant for sexual purposes, I do not consider the act of watching nude people engaging in all manner of sexual activity as something that would please God.

Pornography is Satan's snare by which he seeks to pollute the sexual intimacy of a married couple and draw them into unhealthy sexual lusts. Those who watch them are actually hooked spiritually with those who are performing the act on the screen for pay.

The Bible teaches in 1 Corinthians 6:15-17 "Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit."

Those who willfully choose to permit such profane material into their homes in the name of increasing intimacy or enhancing sexual experience are guilty of sexual immorality in the same way that those who commit the act are. They stand condemned before God.

The Bible further teaches in 2 Timothy 2:19 "The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

There must be a distinction in moral deportment between those who are in Christ and those who are lost sinful and moral depravity. This is biblical truth.
