I can share a few reasons why some churches do not teach the Trinity. 1. The word "Trinity" is not found in the Bible. The argument is - why preach a word that is not found in scriptures? 2. The definition of Trinity differs between churches. A church who defines Trinity as "three persons in One God" finds it acceptable. While a church who defines Trinity as "three gods operating as one" considers it polytheism. 3. To prove God is One is easy. Deuteronomy 6:4 Shema Ysrael, the Lord Our God, the Lord is One! To prove that there are three persons in One God requires cross-referencing a lot of scripture, as the verses that support this claim are not explicit. John 10:30 I and the Father are one. Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Matthew 3:16-17 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” See related topics: https://ebible.com/questions/2872-what-does-the-bible-teach-about-the-trinity https://ebible.com/questions/1974-how-is-the-trinity-not-tritheism https://ebible.com/questions/1151-how-can-there-be-subordination-in-the-trinity https://ebible.com/questions/2872-what-does-the-bible-teach-about-the-trinity https://ebible.com/questions/6178-will-i-still-be-a-christian-if-i-don-t-believe-in-or-fully-understand-the-doctrine-of-the-trinity
