Every physical thing has a cause. For example your chair needed a carpenter to design and make it, that is to cause it into being. Similarly, your TV needed a team of electronic experts to design and make it, i.e. to cause it.

Our universe and earth are physical things like your chair and tv and therefore needed a designer and creator. That designer we are told in scripture was and is Jesus Christ. In fact, God is the first cause and outside of time and space. Just the exquisite design seen in biology alone screams out the existence of an incredible designer and creator, God.
