Why would God use someone as a vessel to heal others, but not heal the person He is using to heal others?
If a person is living a righteous life, prays everyday, prays for others, helps every way possible, lives his life according to the Bible, and stays in God's word every day, why is it God will not heal him, but uses him as a vessel to heal others? It doesn't make sense.

God has always used broken vessels. Brokenness is not necessarily a sign of sin in our lives, but can be a sign that God has allowed this person to come into a humble position to remind them that healings do not come from their own hand, but from the hand of a Gracious God. James 4:6 says, But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Also, in 2 Cor 1:3-7, Paul expresses how God is the God of all mercies and all comfort, and that He comforts us in our tribulations so that we may comfort others in similar circumstances. He used Paul's sufferings to bring comfort to Paul, so that Paul could show God's comfort now to others. Often we get so focused on our desire for healing, that we lose focus of the fact that God will be God, and whether we are in want or plenty, health or frailty, we are the Lord's to use as His vessels. When everything that we have and do comes out of a place of health, wealth and strength, we often forget that it is the LORD who gives these things, and we almost feel that it comes from our own hand. Like Jacob, God uses leaders with a limp. And that makes sense.
