Why did Jehoram kill his brother when he was made King?

Jehoram killed all his younger brothers after taking his father's throne. His mother-in-law, Jezebel, may have guided him to destroy all royal blood. Just after his Jehoram's death, his son Ahaziah was made king. After Ahaziah's death, his mother Athaliah destroyed all royal family descended from King David descendants, who would have had right to take the throne. Athalia is the worst lady from northern kingdom, Jezebel's own daughter, worshiping false gods not the True Lord. Jehoshaphat, father of Jehoram, made a mistake in that he allowed relation with Ahab & Jezebel by taking their daughter to his son, so these things subsequently happened. So, a Christian should marry only a good christian.
