Maybe God has plans for you other than marriage.

Try to discern if you are meant for celibacy. Maybe God is calling you to the seminary and become a priest, or to the monastery as a nun.

May God give you peace.

While an interesting thought, the vast majority of people enter relationships because they have a heart to marry, which is a gift from God.

There are people with the gift of singleness, but they usually do not enter relationships to begin with.

Certainly, one could choose singleness due to serving God, such as for the free time or mobility - but heartbreak is not a reason to do so.

Rather, in times of heartbreak we should seek God's true healing and restoration, rather than give up our God-given-needs out of frustration or hurt.

^^^ I love that!! never had I thought about it like that. I have a heart to marry, a great gift from God. After a loss I know I can love again.
