How can one who lives alone fulfill the scripture that says "Where ever two or more are gathered I am with you" ?

Marie-Claire is right, I think is about connecting with other fellow believers, there are some connection like www.24-7prayer.com, www.ipc-prayer.org. Londoninternetchurch.org, and www.globalconnection.org.uk/prayer and obviously this very site.
You can try and check some of them may run weekly prayer meetings on line.
