Questions: "Will Jews go to Heaven?; Will those of the Jewish religion go to heaven if they don't believe in the New Testament?"

One of the most damming passages of scripture concerning Judaism of Christ's time is John 8:20-59 

Jn. 8:24: "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins". ("he" is italicized in the KJV indicating it was inserted by the translators, not in the original text. Christ stated, "I am").

"Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:42-44)

"Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying." (John 8:55)

"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" (Hebrews 1:1-3)

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

"All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him." (Matthew 11:27) (see also Luke 10:22). To reject the New Testament is to deny and reject Christ.

Regardless of ethnicity, race or religion whoever denies that the Lord Jesus Christ was the manifestation of eternal God in human flesh, the God who made all things will die in his sins.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Way, The Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. The Bible does not say that you have to believe in the New Testament to be saved. (I say this not to take away from the importance of the new testament, rather to emphasize that it is Faith in God and Jesus that saves.) 

I believe that even those saved in the Old Testament were saved through Jesus and his blood. We can see in almost every old testament book some type of representation of Jesus from the blood of a lamb to a scarlet thread. Their Faith was credited to them as righteousness. I do not see any reason that has changed today for the Jewish Nation, God's chosen people. 

However, the rejection of Jesus as Savior remains to me as the only unforgivable sin. So if there are any devout Jewish people who have not rejected Jesus as the Savior, I can see that they would still fall under the covenant through which old testament Jews were saved. God told Elijah that there were still 7000 righteous Jews when Elijah thought he was the only one left. We don't know how many fall under that umbrella today. 

We do know that 144000 Jews will be saved during end times, twelve thousand from each tribe of Israel. We do not know if that is because they have accepted Jesus or because they are Jews. (They are surrounded by a multitude made up of every nation which I see as those who have accepted Jesus.)

So, I guess I am saying is that this is not as easy a question as some would say. The New Testament is important but so is God's covenant with His chosen people. That covenant has not been done away with, rather through the New Testament we have been grafted into it.
