Does the bible have any references on how to choose a church home?

My wife and I are not agreeing a church home and I would like to know more about what the bible says on this topic.

Matt. 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. Not those gathered under sectarian names or in denominational sects.

Contrary to popular belief there is only one faith and one church, the church which is Christ's body. (Eph. 4:4-6; Rom. 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 12:12) and Jesus Himself adds the members to it (Acts 2:47).

There are many true believers in Christ that walk contrary to Christ's will (John 17:20-22), most out of ignorance to what the scriptures teach, having never studied them for their own understanding, accepting whatever the preacher says. (2 Tim. 4:3)

In God's order the husband to be the head of the home just as Christ is head of the church. (Eph. 5:23; Eph. 1:22; Col. 1:18) A wife's input is vital and an important resource for a believing husband. But the responsibility for making the final decision rest on the husband, to which he will be held accountable before God.

May the truth of God's Word *sanctify you in your decision making. (John 17:17-19; 2 Tim. 2:15)

*Sanctification is also used in NT of the separation of the believer from evil things and ways. This sanctification is God’s will for the believer, 1 Thes. 4:3, and His purpose in calling him by the gospel, 1 Thes. 7; it must be learned from God, 1 Thes. 4, as He teaches it by His Word, John 17:17, 19, cf. Ps. 17:4; 119:9, and it must be pursued by the believer, earnestly and undeviatingly, 1 Tim. 2:15; Heb. 12:14. For the holy character, hagiosune, 1 Thes. 3:13, is not vicarious, i.e., it cannot be transferred or imputed, it is an individual possession, built up, little by little, as the result of obedience to the Word of God, and of following the example of Christ, Matt. 11:29; John 13:15; Eph. 4:20; Phil. 2:5, in the power of the Holy Spirit, Rom. 8:13; Eph. 3:16. I Cor. 1:10 (esv) I appeal to you, brothers by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and judgement. Our Lord is very clear in The Word that wives should be submissive to their husband, honoring Him, if the church you want to attend is a Bible believing, Bible preaching church she should come along side you and support your decision. Being the head of a household is difficult at best, pray for the correct answers and leading. He has a place for you both.

The Bible describes the Church as One, Holy, Universal and Apostolic.

The Church is one because of her source: the highest exemplar and source of this mystery is the unity, in the Trinity of Persons, of one God, the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit. Unity is of the essence of the Church. (Eph 4:5-6)

The Church is holy because Christ, the Son of God, who with the Father and the Spirit is hailed as "alone holy," loved the Church as his Bride, giving himself up for her so as to sanctify her. The Church, then, is the holy People of God, and her members are called "saints". (Eph 5:26-27)

The Church is universal because she has been sent out by Christ on a mission to the whole of the human race. The mandate "Go and make disciples of all nations" is given to reunite all his children, scattered and led astray by sin, the Father willed to call the whole of humanity together into his Son's Church. (Mat 28:19)

The Church is apostolic because she was and remains built on the foundation of the Apostles, the witnesses chosen and sent on mission by Christ himself. The Church is apostolic because with the help of the Spirit dwelling in her, the Church keeps and hands on the teaching, the "good deposit," the salutary words she has heard from the apostles. (Acts 20:28)
