Was Jesus in the Old Testament?

Was He mentioned? Did He make an appearance directly?

Daniel 3:24-25 KJV
[24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. [25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

This is one place that the son of God is mentioned.

Genesis 3:14-15 KJV
[14] And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: [15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

What this is talking about, is that Jesus is the seed that God is referring to, to crush the serpent (Satan). At the time of the rapture.

The evangelist, Luke, in the gospel of Luke said of Jesus Himself: “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he [Jesus] expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” Luke 24:27

Although Jesus is not mentioned by name in the Old Testament, He made appearances directly, I would say, for sure!

Here is just a partial list of where Jesus can be seen in the Old Testament:

Genesis 16:7-13; 18:1-3, 10, 13, 17, 22; 31:11-13; 32:24-28; 48:16; Hosea 12:3-4; Exodus 3:2; 13:21; 14:19; 23:20-23,; 32:34; Numbers 22:22-27; 22:31-35; Joshua 5:13-15, 23; Judges 6:12-22; 13:3-22; I Kings 9:2, 2 Kings 1:3, 15; 19:35; I Chronicles 21:12, 15-16, 18, 30; Psalms 34:7; 35:5-6; Isaiah 37:36; Daniel 3:25, 28; 7:13; 8:25; 10:5-6; Zechariah 1:11-12; 3:1, 5.
