Does it matter 'why' you accept Jesus as your Savior?

For example, will you be saved if you accept Jesus as your Savior because you are afraid of going to Hell and not because you love Jesus? Is accepting Him out of love better than accepting him because of testimony and evidence?

I can't find "accepting Christ as Savior" anywhere in the Bible. Man-made tradition, maybe?

The grace of God is sufficient. It is impossible to come to him unless the holy spirit draws you. I am more encouraged by the relationship one has as life with God unfolds. I personally believe we are such unique persons but it's his grace that draws us. His grace will lead me home as well.
