So Jesus would not have grown old and known physical death, He only died because he was murdered?

There would never have been a need for Christ to have been incarnated if humans had never sinned. Humans would have lived forever, as God originally intended.

After humans fell into universal sin, the purpose of Christ's incarnation -- a purpose that only He (as God Incarnate) could accomplish -- was to live the sinless life of which humans were not capable; to die an undeserved, atoning death that satisfied God's judgment against sin on behalf of all humanity; and then to rise from the dead to live eternally as proof that His death had been sufficient in God's sight to satisfy that judgment. As a result, those who place their faith in Christ (rather than in their own imperfect righteousness) can live eternally in God's presence
