God has never been deceived by Satan. Satan is only permitted to tempt and deceive men. If he were to attempt to deceive God he would be cast out far sooner than his allotted time for deceiving man (which goes up to the time of Rev. 20:7- 10). James 1:13 "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:"
