How is a Christian to relate to a spiritual father?
Spiritual fathers not being mentors or pastors, but the person who preached the gospel to us or brought us to Christ.
1 Corinthians 4:15
ESV - 15 For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

When you find a spiritual father become his friend. Because a true spiritual father understands how to put the word or Armour of God to use. You will know him because he is prosperous in all that he does. He looks at trouble and obstacles as a challenge to his faith. He rises to the occasion buy enduring it with speaking the promises of God in declarations of faith. He prays instinctively over every situation. He speaks words of encouragement and prays at the drop of a hat. He may fast on a regular basis. He is full of mercy. He weeps with those that are weeping and rejoices with those that are rejoicing. Most Christians will think him odd because most Christians are ignorant in the use of scripture to decide, decree and declare the truth. They are gentle and kind, slow to speak and slow to anger but when they do, listen very carefully because they may speak cryptically or with word stories. Embrace them as a father and become their spiritual son. Glean all the knowledge you can from them, but watch them in action, which will be a pleasure to behold. They know and understand that life and death is in the power of the tongue. And they know how to reap the bounty and blessing from it. They're led by the spirit in all that they do. Selah!
