It is always amazing to me that something I read in the bible will come to mind just when I need it. I may have read it 50 years ago, but it will fit right in with what ever I am going through at the time. I can at that point just praise and thank the Lord for His provision for me. He causes us to love Him beyond measure the way He loves us. It is His work in us. What a joy it is to know Him and be known by Him.
Sometimes He leaves us for a little while to grow our faith. We search for Him but no answer comes. As the writer of the song of Solomon said, we wait for our beloved. We have to have His grace and mercy without which we would starve.
Oh but when He comes back we will have a huge meal set before us with all the wonder as He speaks again with us. And we rejoice in His company as never before. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I can wait upon my Lords return with great anticipation. Why, because He has loved me with an ever lasting love.
A friend that sticketh closer than a brother. We know His voice and only follow Him.
He is the only truly good Shepard, and we will not follow another. His word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. If I did not praise Him, the rocks would cry out.
The Holy Spirit always speaks the truth. That is how we know it is Him. Lies come from satan, the father of lies. He goes about like a roaring lion trying to deceive the elect. But greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

The Holy Spirit prays for us with a "deep groaning" we don't understand, when we don't know how to pray. I am using this prayer request now and ask those of you to enjoin me that I may restore where I have scattered, or see God's will in my issue and understand it, I am in a foreign country and don't really have anyone here to reach out to God with spiritually, as to be numbered with.
