The reason the world faces the consequences of Adam's sin, is because Adam is the father the human race. In the beginning of time God placed the dominion of the earth in the hands of Adam and gave Adam strict orders, by which Adam was to govern himself. God also created Adam as a free moral agent, which gave Adam the right of choice. And with that right of choice, Adam decided to go against the moral, will and conduct of God and to cause cosmic treason, resulting in a world that once had the blessings of God upon it, but is now tainted with the sin of Adam, leaving the world to inherit the sin nature of the father of the human race. Mankind is not the cause of sin, but we have a sin nature because of Adam. Through one man death, through another man life. Glory be to the Father, Who gave His son for the world. John 3:16.
