Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

1 Timothy 2:1 - I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men

Yes I believe that God wants us to pray unselfishly and for others.
Putting others before our selves. Because Jesus put others before himself.

This question is highlighting the main centric command from God from within His Holy Bible! "Pray for others with all supplication, concern and love". We are commanded to "Love our neighbor as we love ourselves", and to "Do unto others as ye would have them do unto you".

Loving and caring for others is Paramount in God's Holy Bible!

"Praise God that He provided a Savior"! And, His name is Jesus Christ"
