And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written *, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
