Ask a QuestionMy brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Buried with him in baptism, wherein * also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably *. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Therefore *, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.
Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
We are thine: thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
