'And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar;
'Then he shall split it at its wings, but shall not divide it completely; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the LORD.
'The rest of the grain offering shall be Aaron's and his sons'. It is most holy of the offerings to the LORD made by fire.
'If he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD, for his trespass which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
'And the priest who offers anyone's burnt offering, that priest shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered.
"And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
'The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he has committed. And the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.
'And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me,
"from twenty years old and above - all who are able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
'All the days of his separation he shall be holy to the LORD.
"And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of meeting, and you shall gather together the whole congregation of the children of Israel.
"I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.
'One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you.' "
And Korah gathered all the congregation against them at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation.
"I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; A Star shall come out of Jacob; A Scepter shall rise out of Israel, And batter the brow of Moab, And destroy all the sons of tumult.
"The plan pleased me well; so I took twelve of your men, one man from each tribe.
"especially concerning the day you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said to me, 'Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.'
"You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
