Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
"Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.
"and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
And Pharaoh called Abram and said, "What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
"And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
and he said, "When you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son, then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live."
So He said, "I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."
"Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD: "Israel is My son, My firstborn.
Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.' "
'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening.
"It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt."
"You shall not make for yourself a carved image - any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
'You shall not make anything to be with Me - gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
"And if a man sells his daughter to be a female slave, she shall not go out as the male slaves do.
