Psalm 60:6-8

He Will Tread Down Our Foes

⁶ God has spoken _u in his holiness: ₁
"With exultation _v I will divide up _w Shechem
and portion out the Vale of _x Succoth.
⁷ _y Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine;
_z Ephraim is _a my helmet;
Judah is my _b scepter.
⁸ _c Moab is my washbasin;
upon Edom I _d cast my shoe;
over _e Philistia I shout in triumph." ₂
