My Soul Thirsts for You

⁷ _o Answer me quickly, O Lord!
_p My spirit fails!
_q Hide not your face from me,
_r lest I be like those who go down to the pit.
⁸ _s Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I _t trust.
_u Make me know the way I should go,
_v for to you I lift up my soul.
