Proverbs 15:25-29

The Proverbs of Solomon

²⁵ The Lord tears down the house of _q the proud
but _r maintains _s the widow's boundaries.
²⁶ _t The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord,
but _u gracious words are pure.
²⁷ Whoever is _v greedy for unjust gain _w troubles his own household,
but he who hates _x bribes will live.
²⁸ The heart of the righteous _y ponders how to answer,
but _z the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.
²⁹ The Lord is _a far from the wicked,
but he _b hears the prayer of the righteous.
