John the Baptist Prepares the Way

² during _n the high priesthood of Annas and _o Caiaphas, _p the word of God came to _q John the son of Zechariah in _r the wilderness. ³ And he went into all the region around the Jordan, proclaiming _s a baptism of repentance _t for the forgiveness of sins.
