John 8:41-43

You Are of Your Father the Devil

⁴¹ You are doing the works your father did." They said to him, _q "We were not born of sexual immorality. We have _r one Father - even God." ⁴² Jesus said to them, _s "If God were your Father, you would love me, for _t I came from God and _u I am here. _v I came not of my own accord, but _w he sent me. ⁴³ _x Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot _y bear to hear my word.
