John 20:17-19

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to _y my brothers and say to them, _z 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to _a my God and your God.'" ¹⁸ Mary Magdalene _b went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord" - and that he had said these things to her.

¹⁹ _c On the evening _d of that day, the first day of the week, _e the doors being locked where the disciples were _f for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, _g "Peace be with you."
